IT Support Engineer - £20-28K

We have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join a highly regarded non-oil and gas company based within their Aberdeen Office.

The Role

This role of an IT Support Engineer is ideal for someone who is looking to make the step up, the individual will have strong experience in 1st and 2nd line support and will have strong communication skills. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic IT team.

Responsibilities

Provide desktop and remote support end to users and clients

Help monitor and maintain IT systems and servers

Assist in keeping group websites up to date and functional

Assist in IT documentation and business process for continual improvement

Ability to liaise with external advisers and service providers

Assist the preparation of reports and service planning

Key Skills and Requirements:

Experience with: Windows 10

Exposure to Ubiquiti / Draytek / Netgear / HP managed switches

Relevant work experience within a similar position

Experience and working knowledge of supporting Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Office

Experience and working knowledge of Active Directory (Azure and on-prem)

Exceptional Communication Skills - Written & Oral, with an ability to build strong relationships with customers and teammates

Experience with Internet technologies – DNS, IP Addressing Schemes

Experience of system health monitoring and dynamic response to the resulting alerts and information

Printer Support and Configuration experience
