Job Description
We’re working with a technology business building an AI and data science driven SaaS platform focused on predictive and mathematical modelling.
This role sits at the intersection of Python software engineering and applied modelling.
It’s a good fit for someone who enjoys solving real problems, questioning assumptions, and turning ideas into working systems.
The Role
• Work with the founder to translate technical ideas into practical modelling approaches
• Help assess whether a particular method is appropriate for the problem and the data
• Build and refine Python-based analytical and modelling workflows
• Explore uncertainty, edge cases, and failure modes
• Support the evolution of early prototypes into product-ready logic
• Collaborate with the full-stack developer so modelling components can be integrated cleanly into the software
• Document assumptions, reasoning, and limitations clearly
• Adapt quickly as product and technical priorities change

The person
