Job Description

We are assisting a key client who is a well recognised organisation within the energy sector, renowned for delivering innovative, market-leading technology. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Electrical Technician/ Engineer to work with cutting-edge equipment, support projects across the globe, and develop their expertise in both onshore and offshore environments.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Interpret and work from schematics, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
  • Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical systems, identifying faults and implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and service reports.
  • Utilise AutoCAD software for designing electrical layouts when necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance technical skills.

Key Skills

    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical documentation.
    • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform hands-on repairs and maintenance.
    • Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in various systems.
    • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
    • Experience with AutoCAD is advantageous but not essential.
    • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
