Job Description

Deliver an ERP from the ground up. Own it. Shape how the business runs.

Our client is undergoing a major transformation, creating a new operating model supported by new systems and a new identity. At the centre of this change is a greenfield ERP implementation, and they are seeking an ERP Lead Consultant to take full ownership of this business-critical platform. This is a rare opportunity to design, select, implement and own an ERP system that will underpin the organisation for years to come.

You will be part of;
• A greenfield ERP project replacing all legacy systems
• A strategic, senior-level sponsored programme
• Joining at an early stage to shape the solution from day one
• Working closely with stakeholders across the entire business
• Long-term ownership of a core enterprise system

Key Skills

As ERP Lead Consultant, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the ERP platform, acting as the technical lead and working closely with the Head of IT. You will be the key link between the business and external implementation partners.
    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Engaging with the business to gather and define requirements
    • Supporting ERP vendor selection and solution design
    • Managing third-party vendors and overseeing configuration and delivery
    • Ensuring the ERP is scalable, fit for purpose, and fully adopted
    • Owning the day-to-day operation of the ERP once live
    • Driving a data-led approach through reporting and dashboards
    • Ongoing development and continuous improvement of the ERP system

The person

The focus is on how you think and approach problems, not which ERP product you have worked with.
    Essential experience includes:

    • Hands-on experience with ERP systems in an engineering, application or lead role
    • Strong ability to translate business needs into clear system requirements
    • Confidence working with vendors and third-party implementation partners
    • A pragmatic mindset, comfortable leveraging standardised, out-of-the-box solutions
    • Experience supporting and developing ERP systems post-implementation

Benefits

    • Excellent benefits package
    • High-impact role with real ownership and autonomy
    • Opportunity to shape a critical system from inception
    • A collaborative environment with strong senior sponsorship
