Grace May is recruiting on behalf of a highly recognised International organisation within the Global Renewables sector. Due to continued growth and investment, our client is creating a new Senior Business Systems Engineer role to strengthen their Business Systems capability and support ongoing ERP and systems development.

This role sits at the heart of the organisation’s systems landscape, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement of core Business Systems, with ERP as a central focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for Business Systems and ERP platforms
• Diagnose, resolve, and prevent system issues in line with established controls and procedures
• Configure, maintain, and enhance Business Systems, including data management and reporting
• Act as the ERP focal point within the Business Systems team
• Support delivery of an ongoing ERP upgrade, including:
• System configuration, testing, and validation
• User training and process documentation
• Feedback reporting to ensure a smooth transition
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical and process documentation
• Use formal change control and issue tracking systems
• Act as a senior escalation point and mentor for Business Systems Engineers
• Identify, design, and implement system improvements and automation opportunities
• Work with stakeholders to ensure Business Systems meet operational and business needs
• Attend operational locations and company sites as required
• Support month-end and other recurring Business Systems activities

Proven experience in a senior or specialist Business Systems / ERP role

• Strong analytical, configuration, and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting ERP upgrades or system improvement programmes
• Confident communicator, able to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Highly organised, with a strong focus on documentation and governance
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a growing, evolving environment
• Willing to travel to sites when required
