Job Description

We are supporting an IT managed services business headquartered in Aberdeen, supporting clients across a broad range of technology solutions and services.
As the business continues to grow, they are looking to appoint a Procurement Administrator to support the day-to-day procurement and quotation activities across the organisation.
This role offers flexibility to work remotely following an initial onboarding and training period in Aberdeen, with occasional office visits required thereafter.

The Role
The Procurement Administrator will play an important role in supporting the procurement and quotation workflow across the business, helping ensure customer requirements are progressed accurately, professionally and efficiently.
This position is suited to someone who enjoys supplier coordination, customer communication and progressing enquiries through to order completion.
The role focuses on procurement administration, quotations, purchasing coordination and customer updates within a busy and growing technology business.

Key Skills

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Obtain supplier pricing, availability and lead time information
    • Prepare and issue customer quotations accurately and efficiently
    • Liaise with customers regarding quotations, order updates and delivery expectations
    • Process customer purchase orders
    • Place supplier orders and track progress through to receipt
    • Maintain accurate procurement, quotation and order records
    • Support internal operations and project teams where required
    • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and internal team members throughout the process
    • Ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all administrative activities

The person

    The ideal candidate will be experienced in the following:
    •Previous experience in a similar procurement, purchasing, quotations or administrative role is essential
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
    • Proactive, dependable and professional approach
    • Comfortable working independently within a remote environment
    • Experience within IT, technology or technical products would be beneficial but is not essential
