Job Description
Our client, a leading organisation is on the lookout for a HSE Specialist to join their team and provide vital health, safety, and environmental support across multiple service centre facilities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing new HSE programs while working closely with facility management to maintain and enhance existing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HSE meetings and design training programs to foster a culture of safety.
- Ensure HSE processes align with the global HSE Management System.
- Investigate workplace incidents and promote reporting of near misses.
- Serve as the primary contact for HSE inspections and conduct regular audits.
- Maintain emergency response plans, monitor ESG data, and report monthly on HSE performance.
- Review and create risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Create and document COSHH assessments while establishing HSE procedures tailored to specific facilities.
Requirements:
- Experience in the energy sector and/or HSE preferred.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate, preferably hold an Auditor/Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001), and have experience in effective HSE risk management.
